lets say fast.We cant see it moving, we can only see when it hits something. If you were to go in to a dark room and somehow slow time down by like a thousand, and then on a light bulb, yu would see that the light coming from the light bub would mvoe in all directions,......
I was researching ''blackholes'' and people say light can't even escape a blackhole. What do they mean light? Do they mean light as in a light from a lightbulb?

Detailed answers to thanks.

Light is very ummm, lets say fast.
We can't see it moving, we can only see when it hits something.
If you were to go in to a dark room and somehow slow time down by like a thousand, and then on a light bulb, yu would see that the light coming from the light bub would mvoe in all directions, and eventuually hit the walls, lighting the room...

Light does move, but very fast. When a star ignites in space, depending on where it ignited in the universe, it would take us, at earth a while to notice as the light would take time to get to us, because of the vast distance.

All the gas and stuff in the sun would be sucked in to a black hole.
We are not in darkness as our sun is not close enough to be effected by the blackhole of our galaxy.

Stars let out light energy, this energy our eyes take in and we think of it as light, black holes trap this energy.

Electromagnetic radiation is a kind of radiation including visible light, radio waves, gamma rays, and X-rays, in which electric and magnetic fields vary simultaneously.

We can't see all radiation such as alpha, beta and gamma rays, but we can see some, like light.
We know it is being sucked in to a black hole as when we view a black hole everything around it shows evidence of it.

Black holes are well.... holes.....
Think of a sink.
You pour water in to it and it will drain it.
Black holes sorta work like this.
They consume energy, they consume everything around them, dust, gas, light, stars everything close enough to be effected by its gravity, and they are absorbed in a circular motion.
But this energy doesn't just disappear.
Once there is enough it is shot out in a massive wave, far out in to the universe, the wave of stuff then is what forms new stars and galaxys. They recycle the junk of the universe basically.
