If I understand right it must be that 1 we have morning , day, evening and night- light is changing darkness and again ... that is for evidence of rotating around itself

It's because the sun and moon both rose and fell that people originally thought that the Earth was the center of the solar system or in that case Earth system and that the Earth was static (not moving). The sun rising only proves that the Earth rotates if you can prove that the sun is at the center and the only way you can do that is by making acute observations of the paths that certain celestial bodies make in the night sky. http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind…
