What is the order of the planets from the closest to the sun.

It is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and then Neptune. All in all, there are eight planets in the solar system that you and I live in, there are lots of other dwarf planets, but they aren't considered planets, these eight are the major planets of the solar system.
