I'm still not sure what the universe is whether it be an atom or if we are one of a kind but is it possible that there is a end to the universe. Like a sort of wall that won't let you go any further or is there no way to know?

With our current understanding, we do not believe the universe has an edge as such.
You can think of the universe as existing on the surface of a balloon, it is expanding and the balloon is being blown up, so it is increasing in size.
If you travel in one direction for long enough, you would eventually come back around to where you started (assumming you could travel faster then the rate of accerleration of space, which you could not).

Space is endless, but there is a distance beyond which you can never return to Earth. The reason you can't return is that space is growing faster and faster, and you couldn't cover the expanding gulf even if you were going at the speed of light. Because space is growing faster, the distance you can be from Earth and still return is getting shorter and shorter. This point of no return is still billions of lightyears away, but about 13 trillion years from now this barrier will be smaller than an atom, and everything will disintegrate.

Basically, the edge of the universe is like a black hole turned inside-out.

No one knows, people think there are multiverses, what people don't account is if you could travel Faster than light for say 999 trillions years ( to the trillionth time ), maybe in fact you will get into what is known as a multiuniverse, but in reality I believe it will not be until Billions or possibly trillions of years before mankind ( if we're still here ) can really answer these questions, ( this is my opinion) No actual Universes were hurt in the making of this comment.
