I've been thinking about it alot lately. I watched Doomsday Preppers the other day on tv. I was thinking about it before then but lately it's just been on my mind more lately.

Many things will happens like they do every year, but it is not the end of the world, please keep in mind that all of these 2012 theories have absolutely no real science to back them up and it is made up by people interested in merely making money.
The mayan calender did not predict anything, it only ends on 2012 similar to when our calenders end on December, when the mayan calender reaches 2012 it only means that that calender will start all over from the beginning just like when our calenders end on December we start over from January.
Funny thing is that there are mayans still alive today in Mexico and Guatemala and they still practice and embrace their culture, but no one ever thinks to actually ask the actual mayans because even they say that 2012 is not the end of anything but merely a new beginning to their calender.

The purpose of shows like Doomsday Preppers is to reassure viewers that no matter how stupid they might think they are, there are always people who are far more stupid.
On 21st December 2012, the same thing will happen as on every previous predicted date for the end of the world....
Nothing.
People will get up, go to work or school and come home in the evening, just as for a normal day. They will watch the evening TV news, at the end of which there might be a comical item about doomsday nuts barricading themselves into their underground bunkers or taking to the hills.
And that's it.
People have either never heard of it or know it to be nonsense. Mostly, they routinely ignore idiotic doomsday predictions because they know perfectly well that they will amount to nothing.
21st December 2012 will be just an ordinary day and there's no scientific evidence that says otherwise.
