ADVANCED science? Gemini is a constellation in the sky, considered one of the 13 constellations the Sun passes through each year. Constellations are not stars, star systems, nor galaxies, but just groups of stars. The grouping is done by astronomers by setting the constellation boundaries. This last happened about 90 years ago. See the wikipedia article "Constellations"

as birchard says, Gemini is a constellation
Constellations aren't always even "groups of stars". They just happen to be bright objects located in the same direction when viewed from our corner of the galaxy, and have about as much relevance as a street lamp lining up with a Pepsi sign when seen from your bedroom window.
