and wondering what other people think-Bored? I can tell.Absolutely, categorically.........
what do you think?

i'd have to go with yes there is life on another planet because ive heard there are billions of galaxies and planets within those....just bored ...and wondering what other people think

Bored? I can tell.

Absolutely, categorically.....yes.

Hubble Space Telescope has given us deep space photo samplings that calculate out to 172 billion estimated galaxies that we can presently SEE. Estimates of 200 billion to 400 billion stars per galaxy gives us a very rich idea of how many planets might be out there. As we learn more and more about stellar system formations, we will get a much better idea of how good the odds are of finding planets in a "Goldilocks zone".

Even now, if we were to use one in one million, we would be looking at 51.6 million, billion planets out there that could support some sort of life. If intelligent life arises from one in every million of those planets, you can easily see that the universe is almost certainly teeming with life.

The big drawback is the incredible distances between stars. Even communication at the "speed of light" is incredibly slow, given the distances in "light-years". It could take centuries, even millenia to hear an intelligent message. And then we respond and wait again, hoping that our technology, or theirs doesn't bring about the destruction of a civilization before we can meet.

Put me down in the "YES" column.

i think there is somewhere out there... but i think that they would be way different than us. we had to addapt to our environment through evolution so i would think that they would to and i doubt there is a planet exact replication ours, maybe one similar but different non the less, so i think they would be different because they have to addapt to there environment just as we did and there environment is probably different than ours. but yes i do believe there is.

-
Yes, there should be. They would have to bend space and travel thru wormholes to get here.

Please inspect my example in the source.

-
Yes. Its likely were not alone. They could be identical in appearence to us, maybe not identical but humanoid, or nothing like us. There would probably be sapient and non sapient creatures.

-
Very far away probably. For all we know there is millions of planets. And just because theres life, doesnt mean they are more intelligent then us
