What exactly was here before the beginning of the universe

Now I know it has always been up for debate as to what was the start of our universe, God or the big bang, and I feel I have a question that both sides of the argument can answer . . .

Ok first off with the big bang!
When people talk about the big bang the theory is that in the beginning there is a infinitely small cluster of particles with an almost infinite mass, and some sort of chain reaction started an explosion which in turn started the expansion of the universe.
My question?
What caused this mass to come into existence, because something cannot be created out of nothing as we know it. Now with different theories that being from other dimensions (atheist theories!) came in and created humans and the universe, I pose the exact same question, where did the mass from their dimension come from to start their universe?

Question to religious people (to be fair!)
So you say that there is a God and he did create us and everything around us, lets say you win the argument for the sake of this question, God did create everything and is totally Omnipotent, which means that he is all powerful, knows all, see's all and master of all.
My question?
Where did God come from? Same as the universe something cannot be created out of nothing, it is the laws of nature set by your God, so how was he created? We must assume that somewhere there was a beginning, so how did God himself come into existence? was there another God in a different dimension that created him? if so where did he come from?

Now before you answer my question i want you to remember one thing, im not looking for the answer "Mass has always been here and always will be, matter cannot be created or destroyed, only changed (which is true, so how was it created?).

If we go with the religious people and assume there is a God and he did create everything, im not looking for "God was always here and always will be, he was the start(then what created him, did he just blink into existence?)
