I want to watch our Planets. I know they can be Seen with Naked Eye but I want to watch it More Clearly by Telescopes. I cannot Afford Telescopes.

Also I watched Images of Planets from Softwares Like Celestia, NASA World Wind etc. but wan't to watch it for real by my own, so please mention the steps and Apparatus needed to build my own Telescope.

Amateur telescope making used to be popular, but today factory made telescopes cost hardly any more than the materials and tools you would need to make your own. And the materials are harder to find than ever before, since the market for them has mostly disappeared.

The best instructions on how to do it are to be found in out of print books like the ones in the source.

You can grind your own mirror using instructions on the internet and instead of buying a high quality blank use thick window glass - although you would be putting work into something that will change with temperature more than a good blank. You will have to buy the small angular front surface mirror and an eyepiece, but you can scrounge the tube and the mount if you have the skills to work them.

Some planets can be seen by the naked eye, I'm watching Jupiter on my balcony right now.
