It states the recluse will not hesitate to bite, which is not true, the brown recluse is very reluctant to bite, and are far from an aggressive spider. Bites usually occur from trapping the spider against the skin. There is not one death recorded as a result of a bite, and no one has lost a limb or other body appendage as a result of a bite.
