I'm 16 and was just diagnosed 2 years ago with femoral anteversion, patellar tendonitis, and a hyperextended knee(all on the right side). Its very uncomfortable to walk. My hip clicks or pops every time I step and my foot is so far inward I'm constantly tripping over it. The doctor told me it would correct itself, but it seems to only be getting worse. It turns farther in now, I trip more, and I have a lot more discomfort. The clicking or popping in my hip just started (for walking. It used to only pop when i moved it wrong (such as bicycle crunches) now its every step. What would be the best treatment? Just wondering what the doctors would do if I go back. Please help! I couldnt play soccer this season because of the pain:(

For children with severe femoral anteversion, unresolved by age 8 or 9, doctors may perform surgery to reposition the femur at a more normal angle. In the procedure (called a femoral derotation osteotomy) the surgeon cuts the femur, rotates the ball of the femur in the hip socket to a normal position, and reattaches the bone.

After surgery
After surgery, you will probably stay in the hospital for a couple of days, and be given pain medication. When you goes home, you’ll need to limit your weight-bearing activities, and you might use crutches or a walker for a few weeks. Physical therapy will help restore muscle strength. You’ll probably be able to resume full activities, including sports, after three or four months.

You were actually diagnosed late. Most people are diagnosed at birth.
I would get a 2nd opinion just to be sure.
There are two other conditions similar:

Tibial torsion (usually a minor amount of curve in the tibia, which is the main bone in the lower leg)

Metatarsus Adductus (a rotation inward of the front part of the foot, which anchors the toes)
