My friend witnessed this thing move, plus we found a second one exactly like it and we cut it in half, and it had like greenish goo, blood...sorry don't have the correct terminology!!
If someone can explain what this is I would be grateful.

It's a bagworm. http://www.northbranchnursery.com/rc/bag… They can have different appearances depending on what materials are incorporated into the bag. A common one found indoors is the Plaster Bagworm. They feed mostly on spider silk. Other types are found on various host plants, commonly evergreens.

Probably some type of pupa.Many of them tend to wiggle around to scare off parasites, such as wasps.
