Okay my dog was barking outside in my backyard. I live in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma. 16miles from the nearest town. Well when I went out to see what he's.growling and barking at and there's a huge animal type thing. It was a bipedal animal at first just standing at the edge of the woods. But when I moved towards it it dropped to all fours and I guess ran off. I think its a bear but I don't know, anyone have any ideas? I live right next to the woods and there are known bears by me. But it was the biggest I've ever seen.

Sounds like you had an encounter with a black bear. I wouldnt be overly worried about it, Black Bears tend to be extremely timid and shy away from human contact, however its still a wild animal so dont approach it.
I strongly recommend you dont leave any garbage outside, clean out the barebque, take down any bird feeders etc. Bears tend to come within human habitat when their own food source is minimial, and when that happens they come around human areas looking for garbage, fruits, bird seed etc to feed off. While black bears are timid by nature, if they stick around human habitat for a long period they begin to get fearless of humans and actually see them as threats to their food source.
The bear is probably in hiding and wont come back out again until it feels its safe to do so. Your not in any physical danger from this bear, but IF it does approach you, make yourself as big and loud as possible to scare off the bear. Dont try to outrun it, because a bear can run at 50km/hour whereas on a good day a human can run at 6km/hour.
