a stocky body with short appendages would be more efficient at maintaining body heat because it would have relatively less surface area compared to body mass.=======================================…BTW, Neandertals also have stocky upper bodies and short limbs because they were adapted to the cold. Before entering Europe, Cro-Magnon men spent some 20,000 years or so in the cool climate of the Asian Steppes.......

This same phenomenon can be observed among humans. Members of the Masai are normally tall and have slender bodies with long limbs that assist in the loss of body heat. This is an optimal body shape in the hot tropical parts of the world but it would be a disadvantage in subarctic regions. In such extremely cold environments, a stocky body with short appendages would be more efficient at maintaining body heat because it would have relatively less surface area compared to body mass.

BTW, Neandertals also have stocky upper bodies and short limbs because they were adapted to the cold. Before entering Europe, Cro-Magnon men spent some 20,000 years or so in the cool climate of the Asian Steppes. After entering Europe, the Europeans had to adapt to the cold climate of the ice age, which did not end until 12,500 years ago. Therefore Europeans have been adapting to a cool and cold climate for the past 45,000 to 55,000 years. Little wonder their bodies show the effects of Allen's rule.

caucasians originated around the same time as africa. new discoveries have shown, as the name suggests, they originated in the caucus mountain region. they have discoveries in Dmanisi they date back to the time of the discoveries in africa

Interesting question. I don't know the answer but I wonder if the colder climates of Europe and Asia meant a thicker torso and limbs were required to retain heat inside the body. Africans were generally tall and lean, which doesn't retain heat well. This is ok in a hot climate, but not in a cooler one. Diet might also have had an impact. Less vegetation in desert areas means more protein is consumed, leading to leaner, more muscular bodies. In cooler climates, more grain and fruit means more carbohydrates and more fat on the body. Just my thoughts.

you forgot to mention the larger brains

blacks need to run faster after they are caught stealing...and whites have to jump over them with heavier torso
