I cant seem to find any good information on a male black widow bite, I found one in my house, I know the females are very potent but I was wondering if the males bite has the same effect, and if i found a male in my house does that mean there are more around or females around? Its been raining and thats about when i have noticed more bugs in my house, we sprayed all around the outside but I dont know if it will help. If you have any links you could post to take me to the information or just an answer alone i appreciate it.

Males are regarded as much less troublesome than females, presumably because they are both less likely to bite and have less venom to inject. The presence of a male doesn't necessarily indicate the presence of others. Personally, I wouldn't worry overly; If you see a widow, do what you feel you have to, but widows are far more feared than they deserve. A widow bite is pretty unpleasant, but they're pretty uncommon and few people died from them before the development of antivenin. I don't know of any fatalities in the last couple decades. Generally, a couple of very uncomfortable days laid up in hospital is about the worst you have to look forward to (not that that is any fun).

no they aint, but how do you know itsa male black widow? They are so tiny ya can barely see em and are usually found with the female before she eats em. If you found an hourglass itsa female. They dont get too awful big till theyre gonna lay eggs, so u mighta found a female that just aint gonna lay no eggs yet. You cant even tell what kinda spider a male is cept its with the female, and really tiny. And yes female bites are poison and it hurts believe me.

No, I had to do a report on black widows for science class. Male black widows are all black and they aren't poisonous to us. Female black widows have the red hour glass on their underbelly, they can kill humans if not treated immediately
