i already have read everything there is to read about mountain lions as well as volunteering for the university puma researchers....but i want to know......how can i lure one in? will my fruity perfume draw one down? or.....what can i carry with me that will make one draw nearer to me. i'd like to use myself as bait, yet.....i plan on staying safe as usual, so it's all good. and anyway, the chances of seeing one are entirely slim so i know i can't really lure one in, but i want to try. i'm going track hunting today. i'm bored of tracks. i want the real thing.

The best thing you can do is set up a wildlife camera in an area known to have mountain lions. I don't know how old or experienced you are, but you should not do this alone. You can purchase wildlife cameras from http://www.deertrackingcameras.com/Game-… I have been successful in capturing pictures of a mountain lion using a very similar camera, using widowmaker and gusto baits. Do not put your bait and camera anywhere close to civilization or you will attract your neighbor's dogs.
