Noticeable features? Well they're unique in that they can truly fly when the majority of mammals can't. I'm not sure if that counts as "noticeable" however. All bats have leathery wings and furry bodies. However, to go very far beyond that depends on what species of bat you want to talk about. Many of them have disproportionally large ears, for example, while others have smaller ears. Bat's don't have "forearms," as their front legs have evolved into wings. You can observe the way the bones of their wings resemble elongated fingers. That's all I have. Just look at whatever bat you're thinking about using and describe it's features. And I'm sure your teacher will be duly impressed if you use words like "dorsal" and "ventral" as much as possible.

They have skin-wings and pointy ears. Oh, and live under the Congress Street Bridge.
