In other words did any dinosaur ever try to challenge this beast? For example a pack of a type of raptors or other T. Rex's?

Improbable. Juvenile T. rex are of course fair game for any meat eater, including adult T. rex, but it would be unlikely that there is such a thing as a pack of raptors, and even less likely that they will try to kill a T. rex. Keep in mind that the smaller meat eating dinosaurs are about the size of a human being and weigh about 150 lbs, and T. rex is about two stories high and weigh several tons. The smaller dinosaurs are no threat to T. rex. Besides, the idea that small theropods form packs is just fantasy.

Besides another T-Rex, I would doubt another dinosaur would try to confront them head on. Most likely run to live another day.
The thing about T-Rexes though is that they were generally slow. Paleontologists either believe they were scavengers or predators because they don't seem to have the capability to outrun or hunt prey do to there bulk size.
There is a dino that might stand a chance but in general they will never be able to encounter each other in the wild. The Spinosaurus was a huge beast as well but they don't seem to be territorial as how the T-Rex were so the T-Rex might have an upper hand in aggressive behavior and fight instincts.
Scratch that, in fight the Spino wouldn't stand a chance. There just not built to fight huge beast like the T Rex an there huge Spine would be a horrible disadvantage. Not only wouldn't they be able to move with agility because of it, but the T-Rex might snag a bite on it and tear it in two. Even if the Spino manages to win (highly improbable) if the Rex would had snagged a bite on it the Spino would had been already doomed. Not only did the T Rex had one of the strongest bites but they also had a biological weapon on there side as well. Bacteria ok there mouths do to decaying dinners would stay stuck in there teeth which would cause any animal to day in a matter of hours.

No. T-Rex was an apex predator, meaning he was at the top of the food chain.

There's always a bigger fish. In this case. A Dino.
