Already asked in this Zoology, so hold of on telling me to ask it there.
How did animals attain their instinct? How do they just simply know how to do certain things, and do them exactly the same across their kind/species?
Another glorious result of Evolution, I suppose. Care to explain how exactly this gets programmed into the brain of an animal?

Actually there are a variety of explanations. Chemicals etc....
But you don't want a real answer it seems or you would look it up on wikipedia!!
:P
BTW... I'm not an evolution-mad scientist; I'm a practicing Catholic. buuuuut i do believe that there is a scientific explanation for most everything. Except Fatima. That's some scary stuff :D

Its probably something passed down from generation to generation of animal. The older ones will show the new ones where to go and then the younger ones become old and show the new generation where to go, or chemicals. I personally think animals are a lot smarter than people give them credit for but that's just me.

If they did know how to then they would die. How do you know not to pee on yourself? or come in out of the cold?
