I have 5 kittens living in and around my back yard, I saw them this morning running around and under my shed. I think the mom is around also, I have seen the mom before. They don't have a owner, they have been living there for a while now. Do I just let them be or do I call for animal help or something, what should I do?

THey will be fine. But if you really want to you can put out some food for them.
If you do take them to a shelter make sure it is a no kill shelter, otherwise they are better out on their own.
They are animals after all. THey can and will survive just fine around the neighborhood. And being young kittens, they are bound to be picked up by people to be taken in as pets.
And other person fails to say to make sure they are ready to be taken away from the mother, they may be too young still.

Dnt call animal help they will just kill them in a cople of weeks if no one wants them .. you should get a humain animal traper they sell them at a local walmart mart or supply store and try and catch the babies , feed them and ask around ur naborhod to see If anyone wants a kitten.. And if you get the mother bring her to a vet to get her spaid it's like $30 and let the mother go so this doesn't happen again
