What is the magnitude of the component of the magnetic field that is perpendicular to the wire?
Answer in units of T

-
F = BIL sin theta
where F in force in newtons, B is magnetic field in teslas, I is current in amperes, L is length in meters. (there's no angle mentioned so you can ignore the sin theta part)

Rearrange for B:
B = F/ IL

B= 0.59N/ ((4.5A)(0.45m))

B= 0.29136 T

Taking into account significant digits:
B= 0.29T
