from a short table, and students measure the horizontal distance the ball travels to be 2.37m. The initial velocity Vo is not known. The srping gun is now placed on a taller table, so that the ball is launched from exactly twice the vertical height. What is the horizontal range of the ball when launched from this taller table?
I got 1.01m but I don't think this is correct. Please help!

If the table is taller then the range will clearly be longer, so you are right: your answer is not correct.
The time for the ball to reach the ground is given by h = g t^2 / 2
so t = sqrt ( 2h/g)
If the height is doubled, the time increases by a factor sqrt (2)
This will increase the horizontal range by the same factor, so the range becomes 2.37 x 1.414 = 3.35m
