Kayla has one pizza that she wants to share with 5 friends and herself. How many slices do each get?
-------------------------------------------------------
answers:
Jim Moor say: 1 each if 6 slices
2 each if 12 slices
etc.
But that's only if they each get the same number!
I might get 1, while everyone else get 3, that would be 16 slices
-
David say: One slice each but some of her friends may have bigger slices than the others if the pizza is not cut equally.
-
RR say: Slice it into 6 ( each 360/6 = 60 degrees) and get one slice each.
-
JG say: 1 at least. Depends on how many slices the pie is cut into.
-
Krishnamurthy say: Each gets one-sixth of the total number of slices in the pizza to be shared.
-
AlCapone say: Well, everybody gets one slice, of course. How's this a math problem?
-
Iggy Rocko say: The easiest way would be to cut the pizza into 5 equal slices. The slices should have angular measurements of 360/5 = 72 degrees.
-
. say: On average there are 10 slices on a large pizza. So 1 and 2/3rds.
-
LegFuJohnson say: Does she want to share? Or share equally?
And since you there is no limit (assuming you have a sharp enough cutter) to the amount of slices you can get from a pizza, I guess it's suppose to be a trick question?
-
elhigh say: One. Make three cuts that go all the way across the pizza, dividing it into six equal pieces.
If you are asking about a pizza that has already been cut into a different number of slices, you should have specified that at the beginning.
-
Idealist say: 1 slice of pizza for each person.
-
say: 1/6 of the whole pizza
-
Mike G say: 1+5 = 6 people
Cut the pizza into 6 slices
Each person gets 1 slice
-
StarShine say: That would depend on how many slices the pizza is cut into.
