Not quite.
When dealing with rational functions it is important to remember that the denominator cannot be zero.
so, if f(x) = (x² - 1)/x³......then x³ ≠ 0
i.e. x ≠ 0
=> domain --> all real values except x = 0...and range --> all real values.
If f(x) = √(x - 1)/(x - 2).....then x - 2 ≠ 0
i.e. x ≠ 2
=> domain --> all real values except x = 2...and range --> all real values.
