first question:
this is an equilateral triangle thus every angle is 60°.
the height to the base in an isosceles/eqilateral triangle makes a 90°
put h=x ( h means the height)
sin60° = x/3
√3/2 = x/3
x=3√3 / 2
area of a triangle is b*h/2 =>[3*(3√3 / 2 )] / 2 = 9√3 / 4
second question;
It is based exactly in the same thing as in the first question. do the same things.
equilateral triangle , height makes a 90 degree with the base.
h=x
sin60 = x/10
√3/2 = x/10
x=5√3
area of a triangle; b*h / 2 => (10*5√3) / 2 => 25√3
third question:
again the same thing: h=x
sin60 = x/7
√3/2 = x/7
x= 7√3 / 2
area of a triangle is b*h / 2 => 7(7√3 / 2 ) / 2 => 49√3 / 4
