How do you find the sides of a triangle when only angles are given

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-06-04] [Hit: ]
just helping.-Dear your question is incorrect as in any type of triangle the sum of the angles must be = 180 degreesOK Solving AAA TrianglesAAA means Angle, Angle, AngleAAA TriangleThis means we are given all three angles of a triangle, but no sides. An AAA triangle is impossible to solve further since there are is nothing to show us size .......
RE: EDIT: the rules for triangles don't change, regardless of whether its on a coordinate plane, a unit circle, or a polar graph.

mathmom: the sin and cos of a 45 degree angle are the square root of 2 divided by 2. just helping.

OK
Solving AAA Triangles

"AAA" means "Angle, Angle, Angle"
AAA Triangle

This means we are given all three angles of a triangle, but no sides.

An "AAA" triangle is impossible to solve further since there are is nothing to show us size ... we know the shape but not how big it is.

You are going to need to know at least one side to proceed further ... sorry!

I think you are probably meant to assume that the 'arm' or hypotenuse is one unit in length so you use cos to find the x coordinate and sin to find the y coordinate.

You can't without additional information that is not given in the problem statement. Angles alone are not sufficient to define the size of a triangle. You need at least one length.

Mathmom has it right. There is no mention of a triangle in the problem. You are misreading the problem.
