and multiply together to -6. this is not possible.......
x^2+2x-3=3

x^2+2x-6=0

(x-?)(x-?)=0

this is not solveable because you need two multibles of 6, one pos the other neg, to be able to add together to 2, and multiply together to -6. this is not possible.
