If an exam counts as 20% of your grade and you have a 76 in the class....

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-05-22] [Hit: ]
80 * 76 = 60.0.60.8 + 10 = 70.......
and you get a 50 on your exam, what will your total average be? Thanks.

It's not a homework question by the way I'm just curious!

-
70.8

= 76*0.8+50*0.2

-
This question is incomplete and all those that tried to solve it are wrong. Hint: no total score for neither the test nor the exam is given(it might be 20% of the total score and you score 76 in your class assesment)

Well, it depends on what the scores of other tests, exams, and assignments are and what the weighting is
It's based on a complex system of math equations

-
If the exam is 20% of the grade then 80%of the grade is
represented by the 76 you have going.
0.80 * 76 = 60.8
0.20*50 = 10

60.8 + 10 = 70.8
