v=1/3*A*h
A=area of a square
A=8^2=64 in^2
v=1/3*64*10
v=213.3 in^3 to 1 decimal place.

Surface area=area of 4 equal triangles plus base area(area of a square=64)
S.A=4*1/2bh+64
S.A=2bh+64, where b=base of a triangle=8 in and h=height.
h^2=10^2+4^2(pythagorus theorem)
h^2=116
h=sqrt116
S.A=2bh+64
S.A=2*8*sqrt116+64
S.A=236.32 in^2
i hope that helps

1) cube one side is 2*2= 4 and 6 sides so SA= 4*6= 24 in^2
V= 2*2*2= 8 in^3

2) SA= 1*1*6= 6 in^2
V= 1*1*1= 1 in^3

3) SA = P* h + 2 (lw) = 2(7+4)* 11 + 2(7*4)= 2(11)*11+ 2*28 = 22*11+ 56 = 298 in^2
V= 7*4*11 = 28*11= 308in^3

4) SA= P*h + 2(lw) = 2(5+4)*3 + 2(5*4) = 6(9)+ 2(20) = 54 + 40 = 94 in^2
V= 5*4*3 = 20*3= 60in^3

5) S.A.= 4(1/2*8*10) + 8*8 = 4*40 + 64 = 80 + 64 = 144in^2
V= 1/3 (8*8)*10 = 1/3(640) = 213 1/3 in^3

cube (surface area) = length X Height X 6
cube (volume) = area of one side X Height
all prism volume = area of base X height
square area = length X height
rectangle area = base X height
triangle area = base X height/2
pyramid volume = area of base X height/3

this should be all you need, just try, hope this helps!
