how many lots can Mr. Smith get from Mr. Browns land?-Since each house uses 1/3 acres, 3 houses can be used per acre, and 48 houses can be used per 16 acres.......
Mr. Brown is selling 16 acres of his farm to Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith plans to build houses on the land. Each house will be on a 1/3 acre lot. how many lots can Mr. Smith get from Mr. Brown's land?

16 / (1/3) = 16 * 3 = 48 Lots
