y = -2x - 1 and y = 3 - 4x

so -2x - 1 = 3 - 4x

-2x + 4x = 3+1
2x = 4
x = 2


y = -2x - 1 = -2*2 - 1 = -5

Rewrite both equations to y= form
The first equation you rewrite to read y=-2x-1
The second equation you rewrite to read y=-4x+3
Now just set them equal to each other.
Plug the x back into either equation and you get B
