1) y= |8 - 3x| for 1
i got the points (1,5) (5,7) but i dont understand from where this point comes from( 2*2/3,0)
i tried differentiating i get y=3 but i am supposed to get y= 0....can u please explain how i am suppose to differentiate y= |8 - 3x| to get these two point ( 2*2/3,0)

-
y= |8 - 3x|
You dont have to differentiate
The point (2 2/3 ,0) is a point when y = 0
ie |8 -3x| =0
8 -3x = 0
x = 8/3 ie 2 2/3
You dont have to differentiate
The point (2 2/3 ,0) is a point when y = 0
ie |8 -3x| =0
8 -3x = 0
x = 8/3 ie 2 2/3
