I'm assuming measurements are, like millimeters, but a month is a time measurement I'm not sure if that is.
For example, if I were talking about the weathering time of outdoor paint and I measured that amount of time in months would that be categorical or quantitative?
Another example:
Paint A weathers in 1 month
Paint B weathers in 6 months
and Paint C weathers in 72 months
Would that be considered categorical or quantitative?
Thanks :)

Definitely quantitative in your example because a month can be determined to be 1.5 months or 5.75 months, etc. Partial months of paint drying time is certainly possible.
However, if you are talking about comparing the precipitation in different parts of the world in the month of July or whatever, then the month is simply a categorical and not a unit of measurement.
Hope that helps
