so I'm doing good in my other subjects this year except geometry. I took algebra last year and I was good in it and got straight As. now this year I have to take Geometry and I find it to be difficult. I have a C right now in geometry. My family I think might be part Asian or something because they expect me to get good grades. my aunt and uncle think I'm a genius but I'm not, I'm stupid and they just don't realize it. I can't wait until I take Algebra 2 next year.
I ask the teacher for help and I take notes in everything but I still don't understand it. by the way I have adhd.

basically, the only way to get better in anything math, is to practice, so do as many questions as you can, basically they all follow the same pattern, just one or two differences here and there. also, you can try to get someone to show you tricks or shortcuts and also get them to help you understand the wording of the questions. good luck!

I'm am taking Geometry at this moment and I would suggest ( if you have friends in the class) ask them and you don't have to sound dumb just be like hey do you know how to do this? or how did you do this i don't know if I'm doing it right or whatever you want to say or the people you sit around and ask like did you understand how to do that? OR look it up on Google.com
Hope that helps.

My advice for geometry:
- problem statement simplified as much as possible
- the drawing has to be according the statement and will solve more than 1/2 of the problem
- if you loose focus on the problem, start vocalizing the statement of the problem. everybody has adhd more or less.

Your teacher has an obligation to help you succeed. You should meet with him/her outside of school until you get the grade you want. If they refuse to help, then go see the dean or principal. REMEMBER, THEY WORK FOR YOU!
