Classify the system and determine the number of solutions

-5x + y = 3
-10x +2y = -5

How the heck do I solve this..?

not sure what you mean by classify the systems, but there are no solutions as, when you multiply the first equation by 2, you get -10x + 2y = 6, and the second equation also states a value for -10x + 2y, hence this system is inconsistent and no solutions are possible
