Oh yeah, i didn't have enough room up there, how would you solve 3a= -1/4 ? thanks :)
-
If you divide both sides with 3 you will have: 3a/3= -1/4 *1/3
a = -1/12
a = -1/12
-
If you multiply both sides of the equation by -4, you can get rid of the -1/4 on the right side.
-12a = 1
Divide both sides by -12 to get a alone
a = -1/12
-12a = 1
Divide both sides by -12 to get a alone
a = -1/12
