You have to subtract 4x then divide by -2.-You should probably pay more attention in class.........
a.) m = 8, y = 1 / 2
b.) m = - 2, y = 12
c.) m = 12, y = - ( 1 / 2 )
d.) m = 2, y = - 12

-
you want the form : y=mx+b

so organizing into this form:

2y = 4x - 24

y = 2x - 12

m = 2

b = -12

so D

-
ans is d

m=-(x coeficient)/(y coeficient)=>-4/-2=2

y intercept means x=0 => 4(0)-2y=24 =>-2y=24 =.y=-12

.`. m=2 & y=-12

-
I would change the form of the equation to y=
4x - 2y = 24
-2y = 24 - 4x
y = 2x - 12

From this the slope is 2 and the y-intercept is -12
d)

-
Look at Equation of a Straight Line

y = mx + c

so change you equation in the above form to give

y=2x-12

hence m = 2 and when x=0, y = -12

D

It's d. You have to subtract 4x then divide by -2.
