Is this the right answer (Solve by substitution)

(I know my teacher always makes us do that... even tho its annoying-your answer is right (: to check your answer just subsitute your variables for the numbers you got-Yup, looks good to me ;)-yea, its the right answer.......

x=2y
y=2x+3

Here is what I got:
x=2y
y=2x+3

x = 2(2x+3)
x = 4x + 6
-3x = 6
x = -2

x = 2y
-2 = 2y
y = -1

(-2, -1)

y = 2x + 3

(- 1) = 2(- 2) + 3
