Need Serious Math help, 6÷2(1+2)=? Look at description please

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-04-29] [Hit: ]
-pemdas does apply, but this is rather tricky how it is read, at first glance i also thought the answer is 1 here is why it is 9;6÷2(1+2) parenthases first6÷2(3)which is the same as 6÷2*3now if there is no parenthases you apply the multiplication and division depending on which comes first from left to right, even though m comes before d in the process,......

6/2(3+1)
= 6/2(3)
= 6/6
= 1

So A. 1

-
PEMDAS ,
Parenthesees First So (1+2)
Equals 3 , Then The Division
6/2 Equals 3 , & 3 x 3 = 9

So B Is The Right Answer .

-
Order of operations. PEMDAS
D (Division) comes before A (addition).
6÷2=3 then 1+2=3
3x3=9
the answer should be B.

i saw that question too! lol

-
The answer is 9, Google does calculations btw.

Working:

=6 / 2(1 + 2)
=6 / 2 * 3
=3 * 3
=9

-
6 : 2 ( 1 + 2 ) =
6 : 2 ( 3 ) =
6 : 6 =
1

Stuff inside brackets first, then get rid of the brackets.

(I lost count; how many times have we seen this thing here now? )

-
I think you use order of operations

1+2=3
2x3=6
6÷6=1

So the answer is 1

-
1
PEMDAS first = parentheses 2 x 1 + 2 x 2 = 6
6/6 = 1

-
The answer is 1
X(Y+Z)=XY+XZ

So
2 ( 1 + 2 )= 2*1+2*2 = 2+4=6
6/6=1

6 / 2 ( 1 + 2 )
6 / [ ( 2 * 1 ) + ( 2 * 2 ) ]
6 / 6

-
6/2 = 3 then 1 + 2= 3 so you take the 3 from 6/2 and the 3 in the parenthesis and times them to get 9!

-
Asi como esta escrito es 6 :6 = 1 categoricamente = 1

-
6÷2(1+2)=6/2(3)
=6/6
=1

-
this gives no answer.

it is wrong when it has no unique meaning.

-
The answer's 1 because of PEMDAS, which always holds true.

-
pemdas does apply, but this is rather tricky how it is read, at first glance i also thought the answer is 1 here is why it is 9;
6÷2(1+2)
parenthases first
6÷2(3)
which is the same as
6÷2*3

now if there is no parenthases you apply the multiplication and division depending on which comes first from left to right, even though m comes before d in the process, they are treated the same in this context (the same applies to addition and subtraction)
