Determine if the following is true or false.

Two lines perpendicular to a plane are parallel.

The answer is true, but I couldn't understand why...two lines with different directions can be perpendiuclar to the same plane, but this does not mean that they are parallel...so why is the answer true?

All lines perpendicular to a plane point in the same direction and are therefore parallel. Two lines with different directions cannot be perpendicular to the same plane.
