It is a geometric sequence of base r =(-1/2)
Tn = a(r)^(n-1)
fth term = -4(-1/2)^4 = -1/4

You have to find the pattern in the sequence first
Your dividing by -2 as the sequence increases
Just continue the pattern and you'll get -.25

-4, 2, -1, 1/2, -1/4.

its dividing by -2...so it would be -1/4
