This isnt an equation; we dont have to solve for F. Its just like the NAME of the problem, sorta. But we know now that 6=x, so we go through and insert 6 instead of X, which gives us: 1/7 x 3^6.......

Okay. We start out with: F(X) = 1/7 x 3^X. Then they tell us that F(6). This isn't an equation; we don't have to solve for F. It's just like the NAME of the problem, sorta. But we know now that 6=x, so we go through and insert 6 instead of X, which gives us: 1/7 x 3^6. 3^6 is 729.

So now we have 1/7 x 729. Multiplying, we get 729/7, which can be simplified to be 104 1/7, which is our answer.
