what is the point of infinte space inside a black hole...And do scienctist view black hole as time travel?. i work sheet and idk what to do please answer

Black holes are pretty technical stuff. Up until they were 'proven' lots of people were skeptical about them because they make sense mathematically but the ideas are a bit out there. Saying that though at the centre of a black hole matter is compacted so much into a single point in space, the singularity, this has such a large pull that once even light has passed the event horizon, a mathematical limit, it cannot escape. Of course no one has been to the centre of a black hole but apparently at this point all our laws of physics collapse!! This means that you could go back in time if you somehow could figure out how. Of course at this point though you'd be beginning to be crushed into the singularity. In other words, time travel may be possible but is in reality not possible inside a black hole.

The point of infinite density in side the event horizon of a black hole is called the singularity. I have never heard of the point of infinite space... that sounds contradictory. And scientists have speculated that inside of the event horizon time travel may be possible. In fact, and this is a hoot, once you are inside of the event horizon you could travel back in time before the black hole was there! But, you would still spiral on down towards the singularity.
