Hello there!
Well, my question is: How are the soils that develop under grasslands might be different from those that develop under forest vegetationn? What causes them to develope differently?
Thank-you so much for your time, and take care.

I am not that knowledgeable on this subject, but common sense says that the grass under my trees doesn't grow well because the pine needles change the PH of the soil so much so the grass won't grow there. The same theory would apply elsewhere.
