What are the FIVE chemical species found in acetic acid... I know one is the hydrogen ion and one is the acetic acid compound, but what are the other 3? I only see carbons and oxygens left..

If you have a dilute solution of acetic acid in water you will have the following species in the solution:
1) Hydronium ion H3O+ ( or hydrogen ions H+ if you wish)
2) acetate ions CH3COO-
3) undissociated acetic acid CH3COOH
4) hydroxyl ions OH-
5) undissociated water H2O.
