How do you convert pH to molar concentration

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-06-12] [Hit: ]
if you understand pH, you do one (the 1.5) and then simpy move the decimal point two places to the left for the molarity from the 3.5 pH value.......
If stomach acid (HCl) has a pH range of 1.5 - 3.5, then what is the range in molar concentration (molarity/M) of the acid?
Thanks!!

I answered a question which uses the technique you need:

So, you need to do 10^-pH with 1.5 and with 3.5 and you'll have your range. Of, if you understand pH, you do one (the 1.5) and then simpy move the decimal point two places to the left for the molarity from the 3.5 pH value.
