!!-The addition of acid will increase the rate of NH3 removal, but this will lead to corrosion of the metalwork used in the scrubber.......
Hi there, ANY help is greatly appreciated!!!

In the process of a wet ammonia scrubber (cleaning contaminated air) what would happen if you added an acid (HCl) to the water reservoir, and what affect would this have on NH3 removal?

Thanks so much!!!
