I love the way a copper sulfate crystal looks and the magnificent way it forms into a large flawless crystal, but the copper sulfate pentohydrate returns to copper sulfate.
Is their a way to prevent this from happening, like a material I could coat the crystal in or such.
If the material could protect against the copper sulfates effect as an irritant I would love that.
The goal of this is to create a large blue crystal for my collection that wont change back while still preserving the gems naturally beauty.

Somehow you have to keep your crystal isolated from air. It doesn't have to be in a vacuum, but it needs to be in a closed, air-tight container. I small bell jar would make it an especially attractive display item. (But choose your bell jar carefully, the ones I see for sale in a quick search don't look to be air tight.) Any empty glass jar with a screw-top lid from the kitchen will work, just not look as pretty.
I can't think of a coating that wouldn't change your crystal's appearance somewhat.
