A tank contains 500 ml of helium at 1500 torr. What volume will the helium occupy at 750 torr, assuming no temperature change. I don't even know what a torr is? Help please, thanks.

torr is a measurement of pressure, 760 torr = 706 mmHg = 1atm
p1v1 = p2v2, boyle's law, pressure and volume are inversely proportional
1500torr x 500ml = 750torr x v2
v2 = 1000ml
p1v1 = p2v2, boyle's law, pressure and volume are inversely proportional
1500torr x 500ml = 750torr x v2
v2 = 1000ml
