I did a flame test in my chemistry class and we are trying to find a "unknown" compund....Our results from the flame test were a orange-red color...We know it could be calcium but what other compounds produce a orange-red color???

Strontium and Lithium might be mistaken for orange-red. Lithium is the less likely one, since it is strongly red. Rubidium is theoretically possible, but you're not likely to encounter Rb in a school lab.
